MAGA Aghast that Law Enforcement is Authorized to Actually Use the Weapons They are Supplied

There’s been horror and shock among the most watchful of our citizens and leaders over the past few days, when it was revealed that the FBI is actually allowed to use the guns they carry. Before today, everyone assumed that they were carrying harmless props meant to give the impression of authority. No one knew FBI agents are actually carrying real weapons and are authorized to use them. Until now!

Recently unsealed court documents revealed that as part of the FBI’s search warrant of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida residence, an accompanying document “authorized the use of deadly force”. This obviously means that Trump was this close to being assassinated, and only barely escaped by leaving the Florida residence months prior to the search to spend the summer at his New Jersey residence of Bedminster.

MAGA cultists handled this news with their usual measured approach:

In fact, they are technically authorized to use deadly force against me right now! They can assassinate any of us any time they want? Is this Soviet Russia?!?!?!

Always remember…if the FBI can be authorized to use deadly force if confronted with life-threatening situations in a search of Mar-a-Lago, they can be authorized to use deadly force if confronted with life threatening situations in a search of ALL of us.

WAIT! This just in…….

Turns out the FBI is always authorized to use deadly force when necessary. And the order to “use deadly force” was really a reminder of the department’s “deadly force” policy that accompanies every search warrant they get, which actually limits the use of deadly force.

The absurdity of MAGA FBI deadly force hysteria

Let’s examine the absurdity and hypocrisy of these MAGA histrionics.

These are the same people that expound on the purpose and value of the 2nd Amendment as protection of citizens to possess guns. And not just possess them but carry them around in public with no barrier to entry. According to them, there should be no licensing requirements or safety education attained. They are fine with random citizens of all mental states carrying weapons for no good reason other than there’s an outside chance that they will be attacked and need to defend themselves.

But they are terrified that law enforcement may actually be carrying weapons during the course of executing a search warrant? Never mind that they were executing a search warrant, they were all on duty. Just the fact that they had clocked in for the day and were actually in the middle of a work shift is reason alone for them to be carrying their guns. If they pulled someone over for speeding in the vicinity of Mar-a-Lago, they would definitely have their guns on them. So yes, they would be carrying their guns in a search of Mar-a-Lago.

And of course, MAGA likes to criticize liberals for their “defund the police” sentiments that don’t actually exist to an extent that actual policy will ever be enacted based on it. Never mind that, they purport to be the grand defenders of law and order and law enforcement operating at maximum capacity.

And yet, are they proposing here that law enforcement not be armed during an official search? Are they suggesting we should “disarm the police”? Because it really sounds like that’s what they are saying.

Prepare for more of the same

What this episode shows is that MAGA will sink as low as possible to create confusion and rage in their propaganda campaign. They will not tend towards a debate of popular issues. They will attempt to create issues through obfuscation and outright falsehoods.

This is because they have a weak candidate that must be propped up with martyrdom mixed with rage mixed with aggrandizement. If there were no search warrant or indictments, there would be something else to complain about. He’d be getting much less media attention, so they would complain that they were being ignored (even though the media is largely selectively ignoring the despicable Nazi-esque statements he and his campaign are making in public and on social media, to Trump’s benefit).

Everywhere you look in MAGA-land, there are “huge crowds”, even in Democrat-dominated areas. Every judge that is not trending toward a Trump trial dismissal is “highly corrupted” or “partisan”. This is because reality is not favorable to someone like Trump, so an alternative reality must be created out of thin air. I’ll admit, they are actually fairly good at doing this. They are just following the lead of Trump, whose whole career is based on seeming successful. He just happened to get lucky and be actually successful at being elected president.

Their lies are easy to debunk, but they do it with such speed that effective debunking is a challenge. Be prepared to hear and deal with the most outrageous claims imaginable in a rapid-fire basis. Be mentally strong and confident and understand that it’s all a mirage. And when election time rolls around, just vote.

And always remember….beware the on-duty armed law enforcement officer!
